H Dr. Ελένη Τσαντίλη, είναι Καθηγήτρια στο Εργαστήριο Δενδροκομίας του Γεωπονικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (ΓΠΑ), Δ/ντρια του Τομέα Δενδροκομίας-Αμπελουργίας. Κάτοχος διδακτορικού διπλώματος στη Μετασυλλεκτική Φυσιολογία και Τεχνολογία Φρούτων (Wye College, University of London, UK) με υποτροφία 3 χρόνων. To 2005, με εκπαιδευτική άδεια μετέβη στο Department of Horticulture, Cornell University, στην ομάδα του Καθηγητή CB Watkins.

 Ενδιαφέροντά: Αλλαγές σε φυσιολογικές διεργασίες δένδρου και καρπού υπό την επίδραση ρυθμιστών αύξησης, Αβιοτική καταπόνηση, θρεπτική αξία και ποιότητα καρπού, Προ-και μετασυλλεκτικοί χειρισμοί με σκοπό τη διατήρηση της θρεπτικής αξίας και ποιότητας καρπών διαφόρων ειδών, Ωρίμανση μη-κλιμακτηριακών καρπών. Είδη καρπών που ενδιαφέρουν: Σύκα, ελιές, βερύκοκα, κεράσια φράουλες, εσπεριδοειδή, ακτινίδια.

Διδασκαλία: Θεωρία και Εργαστηριακές Ασκήσεις στη Γενική Δενδροκομία, Ειδική Δενδροκομία (αειθαλή και φυλλοβόλα) και Μετασυλλεκτική Μεταχείριση Καρπών και Λαχανικών σε προπτυχιακούς φοιτητές, καθώς και Μετασυλλεκτικής  σε μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο (Οργανοληπτική Δοκιμή, Θερμικοί Χειρισμοί, Φρεσκοτεμαχισμένες σαλάτες, Σύγχρονες και υπερσύγχρονες μέθοδοι ελέγχου ποιότητας, Σχεδιασμός γραμμών συσκευασίας, μέθοδοι συντήρησης  με καινοτόμες πρακτικές και υλικά νέας τεχνολογίας),  μετά από Ίδρυση του αντίστοιχου μεταπτυχιακού από την ίδια.. Ύλη αναρτημένη σε  E-class. 

Έρευνα: Επιστημονική υπεύθυνη ή συνεργάτιδα σε 10 προγράμματα στην Ελλάδα, Αγγλία και Αμερική. Διορθωτής σε
> 30  διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Επιβλέπουσα σε 1 μεταδιδακτορικό ερευνητή, σε 3 διδάκτορες, 13 μεταπτυχιακούς και σε περισσότερες από 72 πτυχιακές μελέτες, ενώ έχει διατελέσει εξωτερικός κριτής σε 19 μεταπτυχιακές και διδακτορικές διατριβές.
