The aim of the revised Programme of Postgraduate Studies (P.P.S.) is the education and specialization of scientists in “The Science and Modern Systems of Crop Production, Plant Protection and Landscape Architecture”.

The aims of the programme include the promotion of scientific knowledge and the development of research in the following areas:

• Improvement in the yield and quality of cultivated crops (tree crops, vegetables, floriculture, vines and field crops) by the development and application of modern cultivation techniques and improved plant cultivars.
• The development and application of new, effective methods of plant production and protection, which are ecologically acceptable.
• Landscape construction.
• The creation of specialized scientists who are suitably equipped to occupy relevant positions in the public and private sectors.
