Associate Professor, Head of Laboratory of Viticulture. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research in Viticulture, supervising many Bsc, MSc students and PhD candidates. She is involved in the use of ampelographic and molecular methods for the identification and discrimination of grapevine varieties and rootstock varieties, in the use of cultural methods and techniques in the vineyard, in grapevine physiology, in vitro culture, in grapevine propagation and in the study of the quality characters of the grapes. She has participated in more than 20 national and European scientific projects and in some of them she has contributed as a scientific coordinator. She has published numerous scientific papers in prestigious international scientific journals and international conferences and she has reviewed many research papers in international scientific journals.
