Argyro Fantinou received her Bachelor degree (1980) from the Agricultural University of Athens (former Highest Agricultural College of Athens) and her PhD degree (1992) from the Agricultural University of Athens. She has worked in the A.U.A as Scientific Coworker (1982-2000), Lecturer (2000-2004), Assistant Professor (2004-2009) and Professor (2015- now). Her research interests focus on the field of Population and Applied Ecology, on Ecology of Multi-trophic interactions (predation, parasitoism, IGP, Ecophysiology). She has co-authored over 60 journal papers in these areas. She is the coordinator of national and European research projects, referee in scientific journals in the areas of Environmental Entomology and Ecology and member of scientific societies. |
