Personal Info

Mrs. Vasiliki Vougeleka is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Laboratory of Ecology and Environmental Sciences which belongs to the Department of Crop Production of the Agricultural University of Athens. She was awarded a diploma in Floriculture and Landscape Architecture from the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Epirus and a Diploma in Agriculture and a Master’s Degree in “Plant Protection and Environment” from the Agricultural University of Athens (A.U.A.). She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Crop Production of the A.U.A.

She has attended six occupational seminars and twenty-one conferences on agricultural issues. She can speak (Greek), English, French and Italian, use pc programs for data analyses, drawing etc. and use various scientific instruments such as GC/MS and LICOR.

She has published two papers in refereed international scientific journals, two full and 13 abstracts in proceedings of international (6) and national (7) conferences due to oral or poster presentations.

She has been involved in two European research projects: Eurolegume: “Enhancing of legumes growing in Europe through sustainable cropping for protein supply for food and feed” and TRUE: “Transition paths to sustainable legume based systems in Europe”.

She has taught the lesson “Water in landscape architecture” at the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus as a partner with an hourly pay contract.
