Course description:
- Critical review of basic principles of Biostatistics.
- Introduction to statistical software for data analysis and Interpretation
- Parametric and non parametric tests for a population mean, proportion or variance and for comparing two population means, proportions or variances.
- Chi-Square test of independence.
- Analysis of variance and multiple comparisons tests.
- Regression analysis (simple linear regression and correlation, multiple regression, non linear regression).
- Analysis of Covariance.
- Multivariate methods (Principal Component analysis, Discriminant analysis, Cluster analysis).
- Quality control and Sampling methods.
