Preventive measures for diseases and enemies. Diseases of bees and silkworms that caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi and protozoa. Enemies of the bee colony (mites, insects, birds, mammals). Non infectious diseases of bees and silkworms. Poisoning of bees from pesticides and toxic plants. Sanitary of hive products.
Special topics on beekeeping managment and queen rearing. Experimental methods for testing the efficacy of bee medicines, for measuring the colony productivity and disease resistance. Control of honey and wax adulteration.
