The course provides advanced knowledge about field experimental designs and analysis of data.

Course description:

Introduction to statistical software for data analysis and interpretation. Brief overview of basic principles of Biostatistics and agricultural experimentation. Non parametric tests. Chi-Square test of independence. Experimental designs (Balanced and partially balanced incomplete block designs; Youden square; Lattice designs; Augmented design; Cyclic and Alpha designs; Combined analysis of experiments); Regression analysis (simple linear regression and correlation; multiple regression).
