Course description:

1.      Principles of plant disease control (cultural measures, chemical, biological and integrated control).

2.      Major fungal, prokaryotic, viral and non-parasitic diseases of apple, pear, apricot, peach, cherry, plum, almond, citrus, pistachio and olive trees, and vines. Description of symptom development, aetiology biology and ecology of the pathogens, epidemiology and control of the diseases.
