Course description:

 

Types of injury caused by insect pests and their relation to the mouthparts, food requirements and behaviour. Importance, morphology, host-plants, biology, type of injury, ecology.

Control of insects injurious to pome and stone fruits, citrus, olives and grapes, fig, almond, walnut, hazel and pistachio trees, field and glasshouse vegetables.
