Course: Mathematics


1.   Euclidean spaces, linear spaces and applications. Matrices, linear equations. Inner product, cross product.

2.   Sequences and series.

3.   Definite and indefinite integrals. Calculus, integration. Area of plane regions.

4.   Differential equations, linear differential equations of the first order or with constant coefficients.  Applications of differential equations in physics and biology.

5.   Multivariable functions, the chain rule, implicit differentiation, gradients and directional derivatives.

6.   Double integrals: definition and examples.
